Job Description Location: Geraldton Depot Roster: 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Hourly Rate: $45 per hour + Superannuation Type: Permanent Position You’ll play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety and readiness of our yard and workshop areas. This is a hands-on role that supports the smooth operation of our facility and reflects our commitment to quality, safety and teamwork. Key Duties & Responsibilities Maintain a clean and safe working environment by regularly cleaning the yard and workshop areas, including waste disposal. Perform janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, emptying bins, cleaning amenities, and maintaining tidy common areas (e.g., lunchroom, walkways, and workshop floors). Assist with yard and workshop maintenance, including minor repairs and ensuring equipment is stored correctly. Perform inventory control for tools, equipment, and supplies. Support the safe movement of vehicles and machinery within the yard and workshop, following proper safety protocols. Conduct daily workshop and equipment inspections as required. Always ensure compliance with company safety policies and relevant health and safety regulations. Perform additional duties as required by the Workshop Manager. Comfortable undertaking physical tasks (cleaning, sweeping, moving items, basic handy-work). Good awareness of safety in a workshop/yard environment.
