Existing experience in a number of the following areas will be viewed favourably: statutory interpretation, ICAC, SafeWork, public interest disclosure, privacy and GIPA, or other regulatory compliance. This is not essential where you can demonstrate an ability to proactively and rapidly acquire the required knowledge.       What you’ll do    As part of the Special Projects team you will   work closely with senior lawyers and a multi-disciplinary team, as well as autonomously, to guide legal strategy and policy; undertake administrative activities and research allocated within established standards, procedures, policies and delegations; assist with a wide range of civil, anti-discrimination and commercial related requests for advice, as well as with claims, disputes and agreements for CSNSW; work closely with DCJ to review, prepare and negotiate a wide range of agreements and advise on a diverse range of matters; coordinate sensitive legal communications with precision, ensuring confidentiality and high standards of accuracy across all documentation; support the progression of briefing notes and related materials; and provide complex advice on CSNSW operations, including on regulatory and strategic matters.           The role offers a variety of work within a supportive and high achieving team environment. The role reports directly to the team’s Director, who is experienced and approachable.
