The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote the company’s car rental services and support business growth. The role involves planning and executing marketing campaigns, conducting market research, managing digital marketing channels including social media, email marketing and SEO, coordinating promotional content, and working with external agencies and business partners. The position also monitors marketing budgets, campaign performance and key performance indicators, analyses customer feedback and market trends, supports brand development, maintains consistent branding across promotional materials, and builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Benefits

$80,000 p.a. plus super, paid leave entitlements, flexible work arrangements, professional development, career growth opportunities and exposure to strategic marketing projects. SYDNEY BASED but may be traveling other sites based on ongoing requirement. 

Task & responsibilities

The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Develop and execute car rental targeted marketing campaigns to attract new customers 

• Conduct market research to analyse trends and identify growth opportunities for rental business 

• Manage and optimise digital marketing channels including social media and email campaigns to all sites 

• Enhance online presence through SEO strategies and engaging content creation 

• Collaborate with SEO agencies to align strategies with company marketing objectives 

• Plan and implement seasonal promotions and local partnership initiatives 

• Coordinate with travel agencies, businesses, and influencers for brand collaboration 

• Monitor and manage marketing budgets to maximise campaign return on investment 

• Track and analyse key performance indicators across marketing channels 

• Report campaign outcomes and insights to refine future marketing strategies 

• Integrate customer feedback to improve services and overall brand experience 

• Support business development through branding and visibility enhancements 

• Oversee website content updates in line with current promotions and brand tone 

• Maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships 

• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and promotional materials.

Qualification & experience

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role: 

• Minimum of 3 years and above experience in a marketing role within the car rental or service industry 

• Masters degree in marketing, Business Administration or a closely related discipline

• Demonstrated success in digital marketing including SEO, social media, and content creation 

• Proven ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns with measurable results 

• Strong analytical skills with experience in tools such as Google Analytics or Tableau 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities 

• Experience managing marketing budgets and optimising campaign ROI 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced service-oriented environment
