Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team engaging directly with industry and end-users of communications services to manage the risks of harms to the Australian community.

Working in the Infrastructure and Equipment Safeguards Section you will manage legislative processes, regulatory development, enquiries and testing associated with the regulation of devices and transmitters, customer cabling, telecommunications carrier licensing and submarine cables. The Section also has a focus on development of infrastructure and equipment regulation for the communications sector and actively participates in a range of associated government and industry processes.
