CONTENT MARKETING EXECUTIVE

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, resourceful and experienced content creator to join a dynamic marketing department at a pivotal point in its growth. We are in search of a content specialist who has proven experience creating and optimising first-class content that performs.
The ideal candidate will have creative skills, with a proven track record of working at either brand or agency level to generate a diverse range of content that takes a digital-first approach. You will be expected to have a good understanding of generating SEO-driven web content and have a strong understanding of the wider digital landscape, including social media, PR, SEO, eMarketing and video.
You will be joining a small, close-knit company – still managed by the same brothers who set up the company in 2008 – and we are still innovating. We are a rapidly growing business based in Coalville in the East Midlands. Our existing portfolio consists of three core brands, which include a diverse range of exciting products, including composite building materials and signage. We offer a great working environment and positive company culture, which provides full support for ambitious individuals to grow and develop. We need to ensure that our brands have maximum exposure online and you will be an important part of the team to make this happen.

REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a content creator, or similar role
• A thorough understanding of SEO best practices
• A natural communicator with excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills
• An efficient, flexible candidate who possess good organisational and workload management skills
• An ability to work conscientiously and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational skills
• Experience of working in teams in an office environment

SALARY: COMPETITIVE - BASED ON EXPERIENCE

• Writing, proofing, editing, and uploading creative copy and content across numerous digital and social platforms and blog posts.
• Optimise SEO driven content with a view of driving website traffic and conversions.
• Offer new and innovative content and copy ideas to assist us in our mission to become thought leaders in the industries we operate in.
• Manage the scheduling and creation of social media content for a number of brands across numerous channels.
• Create a wide range of content with the overall focus of generating maximum customer interest and relevance.
• Actively seek ways to grow our social media following, with a specific focus on increasing engagement and conversions on these channels.
• Assist with the creation and distribution of regular press releases across numerous brands.
• Re-purpose content across numerous different channels, including social media and email.
