Description Job Summary: Our company is seeking an Estimator/Inside Technical Sales to oversee the quote process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that quotations are completed on time. As Estimator, you will be responsible for making sure the quotation matches the specific drawing specifications. Responsibilities: · Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for manufacturing the product · Oversee quotations from suppliers for outside processes. · Identify the time and machine tools required to make the products. · Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints and manufacturing processes · Communicate with clients, suppliers, engineers, operations personnel to ensure that project requirements are met and any issues are addressed in a timely manner. · Conduct meetings with Operations teams and subcontractors to review progress, identify issues, and develop solutions to keep the project on track · Keep up-to-date with the machining technologies and techniques to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality Requirements Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered · 5+ years of experience using CAD/CAM(notably Inventor and Fusion) to program parts and inspection overlays · Knowledge of ERP software (JobBoss2) a major plus · Strong knowledge of machining practices, techniques, and post machining process such as heat treating, plating, passivation, black oxide, anodizing, special inspection and testing. · Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing shops. · The candidate should have Swiss lathe programming experience using Part Maker. · Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Experienced with screw machine shops is a plus. We’ll put your machining experience to the test as a critical supplier to the world’s most advanced industrial technology companies.
