As Director of Sales, you will initially focus on managing key account relationships and driving sales growth across major Canadian retailers such as Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Costco, and others. You will roll up your sleeves as an individual contributor while preparing to transition into a leadership role overseeing a small team of sales professionals. This role requires strong sales management experience, business acumen including P&L responsibility, and the ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships. You will work closely with senior management and internal teams to develop sales strategies and ensure successful execution. This position reports to the Managing Director, Canada. The position offers a base salary range of $175,000 - $200,000 CAD plus bonuses.
EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
8+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
5+ years of sales management experience, including direct reports and team leadership.
Demonstrated success in managing key accounts and building strong relationships with major Canadian retailers such as Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Costco, and others.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgeting, and driving profitability.
Expertise in consultative selling, negotiation, and structured sales processes.
Experience working with multi-cultural teams and diverse markets, including some exposure to French language markets (an asset but not mandatory).
A university or college degree in a business-related field is required.

25% administrative and reporting functions
Oversee P&L responsibilities, budgeting, and financial analysis
Prepare detailed internal reports and presentations for senior management
Manage product transitions and coordinate with supply chain during system upgrades
Support operational improvements during organizational changes and new product launches
