Job Title: Utilities Test Lead SAP
Contractor: Webhead
Work Location: Remote with periodic on-site presence in Phoenix, AZ . While local candidates are preferred, we are open to relocation for highly qualified applicants.
Project Duration: Multi-year engagement with an initial 19-month period
Start Date: Immediate (Open until filled)
Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Travel Requirements: On-site visits to client location in Phoenix, AZ, approximately biweekly or as requested

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-Utilities Test Lead to drive testing strategy, execution, and quality assurance for a major utility’s modernization initiative. This role will ensure robust testing processes, compliance with industry standards, and successful delivery of key milestones.
Key Responsibilities:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of SAP IS-Utilities (IS-U / CIS) project experience with a focus on testing leadership
• Demonstrated ability to lead test planning, execution, and defect management in large-scale SAP IS-U implementations
• Hands-on expertise in:
• Developing and executing SAP IS-U test cases and scripts
• Managing test environments and test data
• Defect lifecycle and root cause analysis
• Strong understanding of utilities industry business processes and IS-U modules (Billing, FICA, Device Management, etc.)
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with S/4HANA Utilities implementations
• Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Tricentis, HP ALM, Worksoft)
• Prior consulting experience in utilities CIS testing programs
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in the utilities industry
