Therefore, in your role as (Senior-) Development Consultant (f/m/d) for Clean Core and extensibility for SAP S/4HANA with a special focus on ABAP Cloud, you should be passionate about the latest technology trends related to SAP BTP, ABAP Cloud and the appetite to explore new innovations.
Working aligned with SAP’s extension strategy, you will be working in close collaboration across the extended SAP customer value chain. Combining the legacy of ABAP extensions with the new approaches of “local APIs”, the 3-tier extensibility model and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and knowing the variety and power of the extension aspects within SAP BTP will offer you a rich toolset to choose from to solve customer’s challenges.
Utilizing your experience as a consultant (f/m/d), you will be able to identify the potential for the “new” way of building extensions to SAP’s standard or identifying existing extensions that are worth to be re-designed based on the clean core principles.
Ideally you have been working as a consultant (f/m/d) and are open to work on tasks from giving strategic guidance over coaching on the newest SAP technologies and methodologies around extensibility up to hands-on development work in transformation projects.
In addition, strong communication skills and a desire to work closely with SAP customers worldwide will be fundamental to this role.

• Reinforces that the new SAP extension model is the path forward for our customers while discussing on how to tackle challenges along the way.
• Leverages the capabilities of the different extension technologies (within SAP S/4HANA with ABAP Cloud and the 3-Tier Extension Model; Side-by-Side with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)).
• Supports the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise and a clean core.
• Analyses feasibility for new and changed services.
• Support for solution proposals and bid management.
• Taking over responsibility from time to time as a (sub-)project lead.
• Takes responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks.
• Delivers customer workshops and trainings.
