Under the direction of the Principal and the Coordinator of Special Education and Student Services, the Employment Support Assistant provides support in the student’s alternate and employability skills development, facilitates the inclusion of students within a workplace/alternate program, responds to the students emotional and social needs, acts as a team member of the school in any area which may directly assist the assigned student(s) or may contribute to their educational program as a whole; and performs other duties, as assigned by the supervisor.
