JOB DESCRIPTION

Shafi Education in Brampton is currently looking for Teachers who are Friendly, Professional and Energetic and enjoy teaching students. We believe as teachers we have the opportunity to make a difference in a child’s future.
Class hours are Monday - Friday 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous Teaching experience in a Canadian School board
• Passionate, Energetic and Confident personality
• Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT)
• Exceptional knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum
• Love working with children
• Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
• Enjoys working in a team environment
• Previous experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong knowledge of the school curriculum.
• Knowledge of tutoring for Science subjects is an asset.
• Currently teaching in a school in Canada for minimum of 2 years.
• Recent teacher’s college graduates will be considered

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour

• Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• Teaching students between Grade 8- Grade 12, using the Ontario Curriculum.
• Stay Positive and Passionate.
• Update student binders and assign them homework.
• Ensuring the homework given is marked and up to date.
• Ensure all folders stay up to Shafi Education’s standards.
• Weekly interaction with parents to provide and receive feedback.
