What you will be doing: 1. Maintain all HVAC and Refrigeration Systems within the Hotel 2. Basic understanding of Plumbing and Piping systems. 3. Basic understanding of Electricity. 4. Perform daily shift reports. 5. Document all calls in the Engineer’s log. 6. Monitor and close out calls through Operator. 7. Follow all OSHA standards and procedures. 8. Maintain interior and exterior of building. 9. Promote excellent guest/associate rapport by reacting promptly, efficiently and courteously to all guests and associate requests. 10. Perform PM on all FF&E. 11. Assist in cost control: Heat, Power, Light, Sewer and Water. 12. Troubleshoot, repair and or maintain the following: All building and FF&E Air conditioning and Refrigeration equipment Electrical systems Mechanical equipment, IE motors, starters, pumps, fans, generators and chillers Plumbing and drains Pneumatic and electronic systems and controls 13. Ensure appropriate standards of conduct, hygiene, uniforms and appearance are maintained. 14. Represent the hotel with professionalism and decorum. 15. Make recommendations to his/her supervisor regarding improved methods and procedures to have a positive impact on guest/associate satisfaction. 16.Attend all required Engineering Department and other meetings. 17.
