WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Retrofit Assessor and Solar Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting precise measurements and assessments on Solar PV and Battery installations, conduct retrofit assessments and Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs). This is an excellent opportunity for someone to diversity their Solar Knowledge and get involved in the ECO industry and PAS legislations/guidelines.
The role will be predominately on the road covering surveys and assessments all over Essex down to Kent and surrounding areas with some office time as/when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Full UK driving licence
• Experience in Solar PV is required
• Basic understanding of electrical and roofing works
• Proficiency Computer Skills on both a laptop and iPad is essential
• Strong organisational, communication and written skills
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail is crucial to ensure conducting precise measurements and assessments
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• A relevant qualification, e.g. DEA (Domestic Energy Assessor) is preferred but not essential as we would be willing to train the right candidate
• Some working knowledge of PAS2035 legislation and guidelines preferred

Work Location: On the roa

• Performed on-site surveys to assess suitability for solar PV and battery storage installations in both residential and commercial settings. Capturing and collating photos and accurate site notes onto our system for the office.
• Perform roof assessments including measurements, structural analysis, shading evaluation, and cable routing planning
• Liaise professionally with clients, subcontractors, installers, and colleagues to outline and clarify the steps involved
• Carrying out retrofit assessments in line with PAS 2035 requirements
• Produce EPCs for domestic properties
• Maintain a well-structured diary to optimise daily scheduling and time management
• Perform additional duties as and when required to support the businesses needs
