Work you’ll do
Design and develop automated technology solutions to support the data and reporting needs of the business. Understand Azure infrastructure and configuration to assess cost implications of data movement, processing, performance and server/cluster setup. Leverage expertise in procurement lifecycle to derive meaningful insights from the data for stakeholders. Integrate disparate data sets from various enterprise systems using technologies including (but not limited to) MS SQL server, Azure, ADF, Python, Tableau and SSIS. Deep knowledge of data flow through SAP products is required. Implement and maintain reporting data mart. Design and develop ETL process which Includes data modelling and data processing. Leverage and understanding of internal financial processes and concepts to help support financial and people reporting for client facing groups. Understand Global Contact Center’s KPI on how they are used to assess business performance. Assist in design and development of call drivers that provide business insights to leaders on call center quality metrics. Implement anomaly detection to identify data spikes and alert the business proactively. Interact directly with clients to collect and document business requirements and create technical designs to support these requirements. Interact with firm financial systems to translate business financial data and KPI needs into technical specs and review results. Understand financial transactions and the relevant impact on financial reporting. Design robust, scalable and repeatable data and process architectures to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards and improved time to delivery. Perform data quality unit testing, integrity testing, UAT and implementing data governance processes. Ensure application design, development schedule, implementation and hand-off to operations meet or exceed documented application scope/timeline, while adhering to established standards. Build strong relationships with and influence external data providers and vendors who control the input data process. Lead global engagement teams across geographies to oversee the day-to-day development and implementation of processes (including design, coding, testing, debugging) for a team of junior developers. Assist with developing Key Performance Indicators, reporting architecture and process optimization for projects (including creating project plans, time and resource estimations, communication plans, deployment approaches and plans, training plans, and prioritizing activities across multiple concurrent projects). Develop training documentation and facilitate training sessions to upskill junior team members. Interact directly with internal and external leaders to discuss project issues and communication plans.

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Digital Sciences or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a Lead Application Developer-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

• 5 years of experience performing data engineering using TSQL.
• 4 years of experience performing project management.
• Azure SQL Server.
• Azure DevOps (project management, CI/CD).
• ADF, SSIS, Synapse Pipelines, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Web services.
• Azure Event Grid.
• Azure blob storage, delta lakes.
• Python, PySpark, Databricks.
• Software development lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
• Full technical knowledge of all phases of applications programming.
• Telecommuting/work from home permitted within a commutable distance
