ABOUT US

Draft Sharks is a well-established player in the Fantasy Football Space (since 1999). In recent years, we’ve re-focused on building the best tools in the industry, and our membership has grown substantially as a result. Our goal is to continue to refine and grow those tools.
As a Junior Developer, you would be working closely with our Director of Development, our Product Manager, and 3 other developers, as well as our writers.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven work experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in PHP frameworks, JavaScript frameworks and database administration
  • Experience with server-side logic and backend integration.
  • Experience with code versioning and project management software
  • Knowledge of responsive web design principles and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Must have the discipline to work remotely

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using Yii PHP Framework, View.js, MySQL databases and CSS (SCSS).
  • Write clean, well-documented code and conduct unit testing to ensure software quality and reliability
