We are a security guard company seeking a full or part time Junior Software Developer familiar with typescript, node JS, React, and competent backend development skills. Great opportunity for talented computer science student of recent grad interested in both software development and business. Because we are a security guard business we seek someone who is willing to work at a quiet client location in a guard shack, helping out now and then with some very basic security tasks like locking a gate and making sure only authorized persons are on property. With that said, the security work is minimal and the majority of the time will be devoted to coding, assisting in the creation and launch of our new application that will allow HR Departments to check in with their employees, ensuring there are no major work-related problems such as:
*all previous pay was complete and accurate
*meal and rest breaks were taken consistent with law
*no harassment, discrimination, off-the-clock-work, injury
Our guard company already uses an Excel-based Messaging system and, because of it’s success, we want to create a legacy, commercial-grade version of it, use it for our guard company and also sell it on the open market along a time-and -attendance and scheduling solution.
