As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll take ownership of designing, building and delivering production-grade software within a modern engineering environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, developing and delivering scalable backend services using Java and Kotlin
• Owning features from technical design through to production deployment
• Building and maintaining event-driven microservices
• Working with Kafka and distributed systems architecture
• Collaborating with product, engineering and architecture teams during solution design
• Writing clean, well-tested, production-ready code
• Participating in code reviews and mentoring other engineers
• Using AI development tools to improve engineering productivity
• Supporting production systems and continuously improving platform reliability

What They're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience
• Strong Java and Kotlin development experience
• Experience building scalable backend or distributed systems
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging technologies (Kafka desirable)
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other database technologies
• Understanding of microservices, APIs and cloud-native development
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to Azure or another major cloud platform
• Comfortable working in Agile engineering teams
• Frontend experience with React, TypeScript or Node.js would be beneficial but isn't essential
