Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, with hands-on expertise in tools like Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Postman/RestSharp, and experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like SpecFlow, Cucumber, and Gherkin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automation Testing: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for both UI and API testing using tools like Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, and Postman/RestSharp.
• BDD Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement BDD best practices using tools like SpecFlow, Cucumber, and Gherkin to create and maintain clear, understandable feature files.
• Test Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, ensuring maximum coverage and efficiency in automated testing processes.
• C# Programming: Write and maintain test scripts in C#, ensuring robust and reusable test automation frameworks.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure seamless integration of automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud Integration: Leverage cloud-based tools such as Application Insights and integrate NoSQL scripting for cloud-based testing and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in automation testing, including hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, and Postman/RestSharp.
• Programming Skills: Strong working knowledge of C# programming, with the ability to write efficient and maintainable test code.
• BDD Expertise: Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., SpecFlow, Cucumber, Gherkin) and knowledge of writing clear and effective feature files.
• Agile/Scrum: Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Cloud Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure), including tools like Application Insights and NoSQL databases, is a plus.
• API Testing: Strong understanding of API testing with tools like Postman, RestSharp, or similar.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve test automation issues and identify root causes quickly.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote or hybrid team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with additional testing tools and frameworks (e.g. JUnit, NUnit, TestNG) is a plus.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud-native applications and serverless architectures.
