Directly enhance the experience for our global customers, making our platform more intuitive, accessible, and powerful for users in their native language. Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure new features are designed and built with global readiness in mind from the start. Develop and maintain the pipeline for continuous localization, integrating with Translation Management Systems (TMS) and automating the flow of content. Solve complex technical challenges and creating flexible UIs that accommodate diverse languages. Serve as a subject matter expert on internationalization, providing guidance and setting standards for teams across the engineering organization. Write tests at every level of the testing pyramid to ensure the quality and accuracy of localized experiences. Core Qualifications Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to craft well-architected, scalable, and easy-to-maintain systems. Solid core understanding of JavaScript (ES2015+), HTML, and CSS, preferably with TypeScript and React. A collaborative mindset with the ability to build consensus and guide technical decisions with empathy and clarity. Helpful Experience Expertise in software internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) for a large-scale enterprise SaaS application. Expertise with encoding standards like Unicode and best practices for handling global data. Familiarity with adapting front-end architecture to support multiple locales and the complexities of internationalized user interfaces. Expertise in writing scalable backend microservices; experience with the JVM (Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot) is a major plus. Experience with deployment tools and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
