As a Design Manager in Design Management, you will play a crucial role in shaping user experience strategy, driving best practices, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality user-centred designs. You will be responsible for setting usability standards across multiple products, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
You will manage and lead designer(s) under your care to perform their design roles win line with the overall strategy and direction as defined by the leadership. Your leadership will be instrumental in aligning UX efforts with government objectives and enhancing the overall user experience of our products.

As a Design Manaher in Design Management , you will

• Define, communicate and drive the UX strategy and vision for your respective products/projects
• Influence and educate key decision makers on the principles of design and usability
• Partner with product managers, developers and stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to delivery, ensuring that design is prominently featured in all stages of the delivery process
• Work with fellow functional leads to plan the product roadmap, scope the required effort and plan the work with your design team, prioritising goals and work to ensure that resources are used in the most effective way
• Maintain oversight over the design work to ensure alignment to agency and product objectives, and adherence to the overall design and usability standards and guidelines
• Manage and maintain an oversight over the design work of vendors tasked to deliver on the work, to ensure adherence to the overall design and usability standards and guidelines
• Propose, establish and track metrics to measure product performance
• Be open to work on the project design deliverables, where required

• Lead and mentor your designers, ensuring that they’re learning and growing in their craft while driving for exceptional quality in the workWork with your designers to plan their career path and highlight areas of improvement
