THE ROLE As a Registered Nurse within the Alcohol and Drug Service Community Team, you will provide comprehensive, evidence‑based assessment, and individual outpatient counselling to people experiencing alcohol and other drug issues. Many clients present with complex needs, including co‑occurring mental health, physical health and psychosocial challenges. In the role of Registered Nurse - Alcohol and Other Drug, you will: * Deliver individual counselling and therapeutic interventions to support recovery and wellbeing * Undertake comprehensive AOD assessments and develop person‑centred care plans * Contribute to multidisciplinary care planning and consultation with internal and external stakeholders * Participate in health promotion, education and community awareness activities * Contribute to quality assurance, service development and continuous improvement initiatives This role offers the opportunity to build strong therapeutic relationships, support meaningful change, and work in a role that is both professionally fulfilling and impactful.
