SafeWork NSW is currently recruiting Principal Advisor’s to support the Executive Directors in the following groups: Strategic and Corporate Services (Sydney based) Regulatory Capability and Harm Prevention (Parramatta or Sydney based) Operations and Enforcement (Parramatta, Sydney or Gosford based) These groups play a critical role in driving organisational performance, regulatory excellence and workplace safety outcomes across NSW. Strategic and Corporate Services provides leadership across policy, governance, all corporate service functions (including HR, communications, Finance etc.) systems, and strategy. They provide strategic leadership, support strong frameworks, data-informed decision-making, and a focus on organisational excellence. Regulatory Capability and Harm Prevention focuses on the delivery of specialised programs, testing services and expertise across industry. Its range of services include regulatory services, triage, licencing, authorisations and provision of various speciality programs and expertise dedicated to support the inspectorate and improve physical and psychological health and safety within workplaces. Operations and Enforcement takes a strategic approach to improving safety, health and productivity across NSW industries through the SafeWork inspectorate response to incidents and service requests, and investigations, together with proactive stakeholder engagement, evidence and risk based harm prevention initiatives. About the role: The Principal Advisor is a pivotal role, responsible for providing high level strategic support to senior leadership, ensuring the successful delivery of organisational and government priorities.
