What You'll Do: Perform screening of individuals entering the location, including the use of security-related equipment to help to deter prohibited items from being brought into the premises. Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries and helping to direct them as needed. Carry out site-specific security-related procedures and policies as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate. Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, as required by post orders and site protocols. Assist in emergency response activities, following established procedures and coordinating with first responders as directed. Minimum Requirements: CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A valid guard card or applicable security license is preferred. Experience with access control systems and/or badge procedures is preferred. Experience with X-ray screening equipment is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
