It brings together the housing and homelessness functions of the Department of Communities and Justice, the NSW Land and Housing Corporation, Aboriginal Housing Office and key worker housing functions from across government all under one roof.    Homes NSW leads work to deliver more social and affordable housing, end the cycle of homelessness, and deliver quality public housing to our 262,000 tenants across NSW. The Design Office within the Housing Portfolio champions, leads and drives high quality design ​across all Homes projects.     The Graduate – Design Office role provides entry-level professional support within the Homes NSW Design Office, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, sustainable, well-designed social and affordable homes and great places.  Working under supervision, the role supports design, research, analysis and coordination activities across all design stages and processes. The position assists multidisciplinary project teams and gains practical exposure to government governance frameworks, design and planning controls and public sector delivery environments, while applying and developing foundational professional knowledge.                                                                                                                                 What you’ll do     The role is suited to recent graduates seeking to apply their tertiary qualifications within a government design context and to build practical experience across concept design, design development and assurance functions, and broader design advocacy and guidance development.
