London International Academy (LIA) is a Canadian Private Secondary Boarding School located in the beautiful ‘Forest City’ of London, Ontario. Our mission is to prepare international secondary school students for entrance to prestigious Canadian and American universities. We provide OSSD and IB curriculum with STEM lab.

SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Mentor to join our FRC team at London International Academy in London, Ontario. In this role, you will play a crucial part in guiding and supporting our international students as they navigate their educational journey, ensuring they are well-prepared for their First Robotics competition in Ontario.
ResponsibilitiesHelp guide high-school students through the FIRST Robotics Competition season (Sept 2025 – Apr 2026) at LIA.
Areas: Mechanical build * Programming (Java) * CAD (Onshape) * Electronics * Strategy/Scouting * Project Management
Time: ~2–6 hrs/week (TBD; extra build time before competitions)
Compensation: Volunteer roles + limited paid/honorarium positions available
What you’ll need: Reliability, teamwork, safety-first mindset (FRC experience is a bonus).
