Position – Maintenance Mechanic Factory 1 Job Responsibilities * Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. * Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using, hand tools, or power tools.  * Relocate or install lighting, power rails, conduit or other components of an electrical system as needed. * Test electrical systems, circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures. * Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.  * Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.  * Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, machinery, or equipment.  * Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery  * Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or the SAS Parts Dept. * Other job duties as assigned.   Job Qualifications  * Must be a self-starter with the desire to take initiative. * Ability to work collaboratively or independently. * Must be accountable for their actions. * Be respectful at all times. * Asks for and offers others help when needed. * Be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic. * Computer experience a plus. * Bilingual a plus.       Physical Requirements * Physical labor is often necessary for 8 hours or more per day with breaks approximately every two hours including stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, kneeling, squatting, twisting, reaching overhead, talking, hearing and engaging in repetitive motions.
