Develop design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge and transportation structures. Maintain accurate records of project details, including design documents, progress reports, and budget information. Participate in project planning meetings, coordinating tasks to meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements. Support project managers with schedules, documentation, and presentations as needed. Ensure compliance with safety codes, design standards, and regulatory requirements. Conduct field inspections and prepare detailed bridge and culvert inspection reports. Provide technical support during construction: respond to RFIs, conduct site visits, and ensure design integrity.
