What you will do Reporting to the Senior Resident Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities: * weighing and checking materials. verifying and recording contents on ticket; * assisting technicians in setting up instruments and targets; * marking benchmarks, shoulder pickets, shoulder offset, right of ways, back of ditch stakes, grades and operating measuring lines; * ensuring truck is properly equipped with supplies and equipment; * ensuring tools are clean and in good operating order. Work environment: * Work location: Edmundston District. * 40-hour work week, with variable hours, including, evenings and weekends, when required. * Working on job sites in all weather conditions, exposure to dust and fumes. * Ability to lift and carry survey equipment and walking over uneven or sloping terrain. * Some travel within the province will be required. * We promote a scent-reduced environment.
