We are looking for a highly professional and enthusiastic individual to join our F&B team at The Best Western York House Hotel. We are set in a fabulous location, just opposite the seafront and just five minutes walk from the town centre.

ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and capable individual with a passion for this type of work, who is customer focused and has excellent command of both verbal and written (to GCSE level or equivalent) English. We require:

• Previous experience in a customer focused food and beverage role;
• A confident, professional and welcoming personality;
• Passionate about the hospitality industry and an eagerness to develop;
• An attention to detail and accuracy of work;
• Effective communicator with an ability to build strong internal and external relationships;
• Excellent grooming standards;
• An ability to work under pressure and resilience;

As an F&B Assistant you will play a key part in delivering prompt exceptional customer service to our internal and external guests in order that the most professional and caring image is portrayed at all times. Your duties will include:

• Working shifts breakfast 06:30-10:30 and dinner service 18:00- 22:00 ensuring the shift are set to meet the business needs.
• Training so that you will be comfortable doing Bar Shifts when required: 18:00 - 23:00 & OR 12:00-15:00.
• Maximising food and beverages revenue by upselling where possible.
• Processing guest bills, ensuring accuracy at all times;
• Cash handling;
• Adhere to legislation and the company standards and procedures;
