Position Description: The Engineer, under the direction of the Chief Engineer is responsible for performing maintenance and repair of all mechanical systems for a luxury high-rise community in Century City. Position Duties: The Engineer is responsible for performing maintenance and repair of all mechanical systems within a property Duties include but not limited to the maintenance, repair and operations of Lighting, Plumbing & HVACR equipment. Other systems include chilled water systems, boilers, Fire Life Safety devices and all MEP systems The Engineer must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned Responsible for & assist in implementation and completion of preventive maintenance and repairs Responds to tenant requests and work orders in a timely fashion Assists with the implementation and adherence to work and safety procedures Perform equipment inspections, repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance tasks Assist in the implementation of quality assurance, PM & emergency response programs Obtain quotes for approvals, order and manage parts, inventory, equipment Ensures that all shop equipment, tools and inventory are properly maintained and conform to safety standards. Promotes good housekeeping principles and supervises cleanup and organization efforts. Conduct Routine Generator, Fire Pump and other systems weekly tests, checks, logs and PM tasks.
