Location: Liverpool
Salary: £24,570 per annum (pro rota dependant on hours), £12.60 per hour
Hours: 16 hours to 37.5 hours per week, part time or full time available, flexible including weekends and bank holidays (please specify in your application/CV how many hours you are available to work)

THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• EXPERIENCE– Ideally you will have a background of working within residential or commercial settings. Have good attention to detail delivering a high standard of cleanliness
• KNOWLEDGE – A good understanding of relevant and health and safety requirements, or a willingness to learn, including knowledge of cleaning materials, equipment and how to use them
• COMMUNICATION – Effective communication, fostering a respectful, collaborative and professional approach to a diverse range of people who you work alongside always ensuring confidentiality
• EMPATHY and RESPECT – The ability to empower people using our services, showing empathy whilst maintaining professional boundaries
• COMMITMENT – The ability to work in an innovative and solutions focused way, including reflecting and learning as you go, and a willingness to flex and adapt approaches as needed
• ORGANISATION – Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritise tasks

As a Housekeeper at YMCA Together you will naturally be an empathetic and caring person wanting to provide high standards of cleanliness within our services for those experiencing homelessness. Your role as a housekeeping will be to have good attention to detail as part of a team delivering a service that maintains a clean and comfortable environment for everyone.
