Accounting Operations & Close · Managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency. · Overseeing general ledger activity, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. · Ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, including SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606). · Maintaining and enhancing accounting policies and procedures. Process Improvement & Systems · Evaluating current accounting workflows and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk. · Standardizing processes across billing, revenue recognition, reconciliations, and close. · Optimizing the use of NetSuite and related systems, including integrations with Salesforce and Paylocity. · Developing and maintaining documentation for key accounting processes and controls.
