You will carry a varied workload, ranging from voluntary involvement, up to and including children subject to Child Protection processes, and those subject to Compulsory Measures of Care within the Children’s Hearing system, including those looked after away from home.  We work with children and young people from pre-birth through to the age of 26, where required, supporting them through significant life transitions.  Our aim is to support early and effective change, and to make timely decisions for children who may require permanent alternative care. Along with excellent written and oral communication skills, you will have a working knowledge of GIRFEC, relevant legislation and have proven organisational skills, along with the ability to be flexible in your response to demands as required. You will be expected to work with a certain amount of autonomy but will be accountable to the responsible Team Leader.
