OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities through effective maintenance management. This position requires strong leadership abilities, mechanical knowledge, and experience in industrial maintenance. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for developing maintenance schedules, overseeing projects, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or sawmill environment, with at least 1–2 years in a planning, scheduling, or coordinating role.
• Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial equipment maintenance practices.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for mill equipment.
• Plan and prioritize work orders in collaboration with maintenance and production supervisors.
• Coordinate parts procurement and ensure necessary tools, materials, and equipment are available for scheduled work.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including equipment history and work order completion reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety.
• Work with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services.
• Monitor and report key maintenance performance metrics (e.g., MTBF, MTTR, schedule compliance).
• Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Support maintenance budgeting and cost-control initiatives.
• Provide technical support to maintenance and operations teams as needed.
