You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining a wide range of project-related processes and activities across all phases of the project lifecycle. Key deliverables for this role include creating project structure, providing data and reports to management, assisting with resource planning, creating processes and workflows, knowledge sharing and coordination of procurement and contract management activities. You will be working as part of a small sized high-performing team within a multi-dimensional, fast-paced and challenging operational environment. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant building, construction or project management discipline with at least 1 year of experience in an Assistant Project Manager position or at least 2 years experience as a Project Coordinator / Project Officer and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or training. Demonstrated experience assisting and coordinating Consultant and Contractor Procurement and Contract Management including preparation of RFP/RFT documentation, coordination of tender evaluation activities and contract administration. Demonstrated project planning experience, including the ability to prioritise tasks, work to tight deadlines, anticipate future requirements and resolve issues. Demonstrated problem solving skills using judgement and reasoning in interpreting situations and providing accurate and consistent advice. Effective interpersonal skills that enable strong working relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders of varying levels of seniority. Excellent time management skills, including the ability to balance competing priorities within tight timeframes. Advanced written and oral communication skills. Experience using Microsoft Office and MS Project is highly desirable along with a proven ability to quickly adapt to new software and systems.
