This position has an end date of March 31, 2027. Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person. Work primarily takes place at Enterprise Square. The candidate must be available to work in person a minimum of 3 days per week. Reporting to the Director, Technology Transfer, the Technology Management Officer is responsible for overseeing technology transfer and commercialization activities stemming from inventions developed at the University of Alberta and other post-secondary institutions (PSIs) in the Greater Edmonton Region. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing intellectual property strategies, negotiating legal agreements, and staying informed about the commercialization landscape to drive economic growth and societal benefit through innovation.
