Kia Vancouver is looking for a detail focused, experienced accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant working with our stores in the Vancouver area.

• Ongoing schedule reconciliation including: Warranties, Floor Plans, Inventories and Vehicle Receivables.
• Ongoing reconciliation of bank accounts
• Preparation of ongoing GL and journal entries to manage cash, A/R and A/P;
• Processing of on-demand payments including dealer trades, lien payouts, flooring payouts and cheques for customers
• Processing and scrutiny of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions and maintenance of related accounting schedules, maximizing discounts received on payments made and reducing A/R collection time
• Daily, ongoing review of deals posted, posting and correcting GL postings as needed
• Analyzing information pertaining to accounting, financial and administration, advising of anomalies and suggesting solutions.
• Assistance with payroll preparation and processing
• Preparing & processing government remittances and reporting;
• Providing ongoing coaching and mentoring of the accounting staff responsible for deal posting, bank entries, accounts payable and accounts receivable
