EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Undergraduate degree or diploma in Business Administration, Sport Management, Volunteer Management, or another relevant;
• Minimum two (2) years of related work experience or a combined equivalent of education and work experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in working with large spreadsheets and/or databases with varying complexities;
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, administration, and planning skills
• Creative, results-oriented, able to deliver on deadlines and deliverables
• Experience with Google’s G Suite programs (e.g. Gmail, Docs, Slides, Forms and Calendar, etc.)
• Knowledge and experience working in a not-for-profit, events, or multi-sport Games environment
• Ability to liaise and interact with multiple partners, locally, provincially and nationally.

This role will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Understanding the accreditation system and related policies and procedures;
• Contributing to the plan that identifies the key equipment, supply, and activity requirements to provide accreditation to approximately 15,000 people;
• Assisting with coordinating operations within the Volunteer and Accreditation Uniform Distribution Centre;
• Assisting with the coordination of the production of data and badges with strict deadlines;
• Supporting the packaging and delivery process of accreditation badges to venues outside of the Accreditation and Uniform Distribution Centre;
• Liaising with other departments to create and finalize the Games-time volunteer needs and schedules;
• Supporting the development and implementation of Volunteer policies;
• Participating in community outreach activities, to attract and recruit volunteers;
• Being a fully engaged team member with a goal of positive and healthy relationships in the workplace
• Executing all responsibilities in a manner which is consistent with the Mission, Vision, and Values of the St. John’s 2025 Canada Games, and;
• Fulfilling all other duties as reasonably required.
