You will interact with customers to diagnose problems, recommend solutions, and provide high-quality service. Strong technical skills, experience with generator systems, and effective communication are essential for success in this position. In this role, you will be responsible for: Understanding and working with electricity, electrical systems, motor control systems, and process control instrumentation. Conducting maintenance, service, and repairs across a range of areas including plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, and electrical systems. Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring and equipment to ensure proper function and safety. Performing light maintenance tasks on electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC/R units. Supporting the repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Inspecting electrical systems and components to identify hazards or defects and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Diagnosing and repairing electrical malfunctions, particularly in lighting circuits. Additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Generac Certification Required At least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of three years of driving experience is required A high school diploma or equivalent qualification. Experience with generator systems. Extensive knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems. Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques. Physical capability to perform the job duties and availability for overtime, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Well-organized with strong task prioritization skills. The physical requirements of this job include: Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work.
