Performs head to toe assessments, airway management, nutrition management, infusion management, catheterizations, applying and changing simple sterile and/or non-sterile dressings, colostomy care, taking/recording vital signs, administering suppositories and enemas Documents nursing decisions and outcomes and reports problems and/or changes to designated nursing staff Diagnoses conditions and communicates resident status changes to the designated Community Care Clinician Provides personal care to residents including assisting with bathing, dressing, care of skin and hair; changing beds; assisting with toilet needs; and overseeing exercise routines. First Aid Certificate (Certificates accepted in B.C. - WorkSafeBC) Compensation As Connective is a unionized environment, the starting wage is $32.84 per hour plus benefits as per the collective agreement. The wage will increase with every 2,000 hours worked up to a maximum of $41.35 per hour. Important: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada, observe their weekly hours limit if under a temporary or study visa, and provide proof of eligibility if selected for the role.
