Our client, one of Canada’s Big 5 Banks, is looking to add junior-level Back Office Investment Processing Officers to their corporate team in downtown Toronto. This is a hybrid role — successful candidates must be comfortable working onsite 4 days a week. Must-Have Skills & Experience: Strong communication skills (English – written and verbal communication is crucial) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Minimum 6 months of previous banking experience (Teller or Back Office) What You’ll Be Doing: Perform accurate data entry and review client documentation to set up fee rates, group accounts, and ensure proper account configuration. Open and maintain accounts on the book of records; enrich account profiles for functionality across multiple Lines of Business (LOBs). Process maintenance requests, such as rate changes or account grouping adjustments, in compliance with established procedures. Utilize ticketing systems and optical imaging tools to manage documentation and workflow efficiently. Monitor and manage a shared email inbox for incoming requests and inquiries. Conduct investigations on account-related issues and collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies. Work in an SLA-driven environment, ensuring tasks are completed within defined timelines and quality standards. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
