You lead the UK & IE Accounts team, overseeing group reporting, statutory reporting, tax compliance, audit coordination, and financial controls across all entities in the UK and Ireland. You ensure accurate and timely financial reporting according to local GAAP and Group Accounting Standards (IFRS), strong internal controls, and full compliance with local GAAP in tax and statutory reporting and other obligations. Your core responsibilities are: Accounting & Reporting Lead the UK & IE Accounts team, providing direction and guidance, managing team development and performance. Ensure strong internal controls and consistent application of accounting and financial processes. Manage preparation of group reports, statutory accounts and tax reports for all UK & IE entities. Oversee month‑end close for group accounts, including P&L review, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow, and commentary for Controllers. Provide technical guidance and act as the escalation point for complex accounting, tax, and compliance matters in the UK and Ireland. Coordinate with Global Accounting Team and our Shared Service Centres on accounts postings, reconciliations, and monthly, quarterly and annual closings to ensure quality and compliance. Audit & Tax Lead the annual audit process, managing auditors, timelines, and deliverables. Maintaining and developing internal controls for UK and Ireland. Prepare tax reports, liaise with tax advisors, and review CIT returns. Oversee PSA reporting, PAYE‑related tax matters, duties and other tax issues. Manage HMRC enquiries and audits and ensure alignment with Group Tax policies.
