JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Director of Nursing is a pivotal leadership role responsible assisting the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in our facility. This position requires a strong background in nursing administration, with experience in assisted living, nursing homes, home health, hospice care, and acute care settings. You will be responsible for assist in the management and direction of the Nursing Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, the Director of Nursing and Medical Director, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
