Description du poste • Proposer des services professionnels, cordiaux et prévenants aux clients tout en aidant les collègues et en les guidant vers les objectifs de l’hôtel. • Veiller à la constance lors de la préparation de tous les plats, et de toutes les cartes, respectant les normes et les standards de l’hôtel. • Travailler sous l’expertise et en collaboration avec le 1er Chef de Partie • Coordonner et diriger adéquatement l’équipe de travail (Chef de partie, ½ chef de partie, commis) et se rapporter au Chef et aux sous chefs en tout temps. • Veiller à ce que tous les membres de l’équipe soient au fait des règles et des objectifs. • S’efforcer continuellement d’améliorer la qualité, la préparation et la présentation des plats. • Assurer la rotation des produits périssables dans toutes les chambres froides afin de réduire le gaspillage et de récupérer les produits au maximum. • Bien connaître tous les plats du menu, les plats du jour et les promotions en cours. • Capacité d’exécuter tous les domaines que l’on retrouve en cuisine. • Être responsable de la propreté et de l’entretien de toutes les zones de travail, des ustensiles et des équipements; avant, pendant et après leur quart de travail. • Respecter et maitriser les politiques, les procédures et les normes de service relatives aux cuisines. • Respecter et maitriser toutes les politiques d’hygiène, de salubrité et de sécurité lors de la manipulation de nourriture. • Constance et régularité dans son travail de tous les jours et en assumer les responsabilités découlant de sa fonction. • Respecter les normes de sécurité et santé au travail des collègues. • Effectuer la mise en place pour les besoins journaliers/hebdomadaires en fonction du plan de travail établi. • Être en mesure de bien gérer les demandes d’allergies et les intolérances alimentaires. • Respecter une tenue professionnelle exigée (veste de cuisine, pantalon noir, tablier et un couvre chef). • Respecter le rangement des frigos et leur propreté. • Toutes autres tâches connexes.
