Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping and Sustainability, and collaborating with partners such as Marketing, Social Media, HR, Sustainability, team members-at-large, and external partners in the community - you will support the Wickaninnish Inn’s culture of excellence, appreciation, and growth. As a Community & Culture Coordinator you will: Plan and execute team recognition initiatives that celebrate our team members and acknowledge their contributions and talents. Create a culture of engagement and appreciation by empowering teams and individuals to co-create their ideal workplace, work with various individuals and departments to plan and lead engagement, learning, and wellness activities. Be accountable by setting goals, targets, and measuring results. Use data to improve results. Encourage collaborative relationships and build a supportive work environment with open communication, trust, and respect. Provide support to Departmental Leaders and Senior Managers with team initiatives. Send shift briefings to the Director of Housekeeping and Sustainability and complete the Coordinator Checklist. Produce quarterly and ad hoc progress reports. Track and report expenditures accurately, working within budgetary guidelines. Design internal collateral for initiatives in print, online, and on social media. Collect and share content from all initiatives for the WickCareers Instagram account, collaborate with Marketing on strategy and adhere to all Social Media guidelines Design, manage, and optimize the staff intranet: www.wickultra.net Develop partnerships with community organizations within Tofino, Ucluelet, and the Pacific Rim region.
