Key accountabilities include: * Always provide the highest quality of service to our guests and associates alike, leading by example. * Train, maintain and enforce all service standards. * Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for all associates and guests. Report unsafe conditions to manager. * Ensure department is fully staffed and able to handle volume of business. * Understand and teach empowerment principles to ensure guest satisfaction. * Listen and provide support to team members, to ensure associate satisfaction and retention. * Greet guests as they enter, consistently delivering exceptional service. * Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive guest service to restaurant guests, restaurant staff and culinary production team. * Be very familiar with all breakfast food and beverage items. * Check with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. * Perform opening and closing procedures i.e., the set up and break down of stations, clearing and re-setting up of tables, etc. * Maintain and ensure the overall cleanliness of the breakfast area. * Endeavor to work in a unified and collaborative way -- one that fosters teamwork. * Follow all safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions. * Have thorough knowledge of emergency procedures. * Practice safety standards at all times, leading by example.
