Squamish Nation is seeking a Registered Nurse, Primary Care to join the Yúustway Health and Wellness team. This role is central to delivering high-quality, culturally safe primary care services to Squamish Nation Members across the North Shore and Squamish Valley. As part of a multidisciplinary care team, you will support patient wellness across the lifespan—from prevention and health promotion to chronic disease and complex care—helping strengthen individual, family, and community health outcomes. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Deliver culturally competent, patient-centred primary care to individuals and families. * Perform triage, health assessments, screening, and physical examinations. * Provide RN procedures including phlebotomy, ECGs/holter monitoring, and wound care. * Conduct STBBI screening, prevention, and management. * Support Opioid Antagonist Therapy (OAT) assessments, treatment, and ongoing management. * Develop, implement, and adjust patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. * Provide chronic disease management, health education, and self-management support. * Coordinate care across internal providers and external community partners. * Advocate for patients to ensure accessible, wrap-around, culturally safe care. * Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with professional standards. * Participate in quality improvement, team meetings, and program development initiatives.
