YOUR ROLE:

The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for leading and guiding a workforce of approximately 700 employees in Germany. This role will oversee a dedicated HR team of 15 professionals, specializing in areas such as learning and development, talent acquisition, HR operations, employer branding, compensation & benefits, and payroll.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the Head of Human Resources for GFT Technologies in Germany, acting as the senior leader of the HR function.
• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the business to gain insights into organizational structure and strategic plans.
• Build strong relationships with the HR team to support corporate initiatives, priorities, and directives.
• Own and oversee GFT’s HR strategy, policies, programs, and processes, ensuring their effective implementation and adaptation as needed.
• Manage the delivery of compensation and benefits programs, providing recommendations and tailored solutions in areas like Compensation and Benefits.
• Oversee the base compensation program, including market analysis, job evaluations, salary structures, policies, procedures, and merit increases.
• Act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to the COO and management team, earning respect and building strong relationships with management, peers, and subordinates.
• Support and influence business unit strategy by advising leaders on human resources matters.
• Collaborate with the broader global GFT organization, working closely with regional and country leaders and functional heads to align with overall corporate strategy.
• Lead change management processes to support organizational transformation, developing action plans and communication strategies during periods of business change.
• Further develop and implement key strategic People & Culture initiatives, including Strategic Workforce Planning, Onboarding, Talent & Performance Management, and promoting corporate culture.
• Lead a team of HR professionals to recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
• Ensure accurate deployment of HRIS systems across business units.
• Effectively manage employee relations and maintain strong, constructive relationships with Works Councils to foster a positive HR climate, mitigate legal risks, and protect GFT Germany’s reputation.
