Food & Beverage Assistant


An exciting opportunity has become available at Copthorne Hotel Aberdeen for the Food & Beverage Assistant position. Our Food & Beverage Assistant will help the hotel to continue to deliver great service to our guests in the bar, restaurant and functions area.


Key Information:


  • Role: Food & Beverage Assistant
  • Hours of Work: Casual - as required
  • Location: Copthorne Hotel Aberdeen, 122 Huntly Street, Aberdeen, AB10 1SU

As a Food & Beverage Assistant your responsibilities will include:


  • The service of food & beverage products in the bar, restaurant and function area
  • To be able to understand and communicate effectively the menu and all products available to customers
  • Deal with all payment transactions (Cash, card and room charging) according to company guidelines
  • To provide a warm and welcoming service, ensuring that all queries or requirements are dealt with accordingly

We are keen to hear from applicants with the following:


  • Experience in a food & beverage position
  • Great customer service skills
  • The ability to work under pressure as part of a team and maintain a professional approach
  • Experience working with payments
  • Experience of Micros would be an advantage
  • Flexible to cover various shifts over the festive season including weekend party events
