The East and Central Bristol CAMHS Team is located within a community settlement in a culturally diverse area of Central Bristol. Our team is made up of Family Therapy, Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Systemic Practitioners, Psychotherapists and Psychiatrists.
We are looking for an experienced clinician to join our management team. You will be supporting the clinical team on a day-to-day basis to ensure safe and enjoyable working in our team. You do not need previous management experience as we will support you to grow in this area.
The successful candidate will be part of a stimulating and supportive multidisciplinary service, working alongside the clinical service lead, as part of the leadership team. This post is fixed term and a secondment would be considered for anyone wishing to develop their leaderships and management skills.
This post offers the opportunity to develop management skills alongside clinical work as approximately half the post will remain clinical.

Working in partnership with the locality Clinical service lead, the post holder will ensure excellent clinical standards are maintained within the team, and ensure the best use of available resources to deliver positive outcomes for individual young people and their families.
The post-holder, alongside the clinical lead, will manage, direct and lead a recovery orientated, multi-disciplinary integrated CAMHS service in a community setting
The post also has an element of direct clinical work.

In partnership with the Clinical Service Lead to be responsible for leading and managing a modern, efficient mental health community service for a defined population in accordance with commissioned services.
With support from the clinical lead, Senior Practitioners and the medical consultant, the post holder will help manage the delivery of high quality effective evidence-based interventions which lead to positive outcomes for service users and carers.
To lead by example, motivating and empowering others and promoting positive attitudes, mutual understanding and collaboration between all services involved in the care process.
To line manage staff within the multi-disciplinary team ensuring effective processes where this is delegated.
To oversee the performance of all designated care clinicians within the team in line with the requirements of care co-ordination so as to ensure that consistent clinical and quality standards are maintained.
