THE ROLE AND THE TEAM

Zalando Workplace, a function within the Chief People Officer (CPO) organization and responsible for developing and maintaining the digital as well as the physical workplace for Zalando, is seeking a specialist project manager for our Workplace Campus Strategy team, part of Workplace Strategic Development.
The Campus Strategy Team defines, develops and evolves our physical workplace at the HQ Campus in Berlin as well as our satellite offices in Germany and abroad. As a specialist Project Manager for our offices, you are supporting high impact projects or leading medium sized projects end-to-end whilst bringing together cross-functional teams, interacting with our customers, important stakeholders within the company and with our landlords and external planning partners.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• Support in developing and evolving our physical Workplace, innovating concepts that shape our office environment and reflect our identity and culture.
• Independently set up, plan, and manage small to medium-sized projects related to our physical office spaces.
• Oversee project progress and drive decision-making through the application of standard project management methodologies, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, representing Zalando and negotiating contracts that protect the company’s interests.
• Manage external planners, designers, and contractors, ensuring their designs reflect Zalando’s values, branding identity and cultural ways of working.
• Collaborate closely with our internal stakeholders identifying and coordinating the relevant expert teams to deliver on project and business objectives.
• Engage with employees (our customers!) across all Zalando and translate their needs into actionable initiatives that enhance employee onsite experience, while adhering to overarching guidelines.
• Develop and execute the design of small-scale pilot projects within our office spaces, including creating drawings, planning, and overseeing implementation from start to finish.
